Electronic ProdataKey Door Access

The church uses an electronic key system from ProdataKey (PDK), which stores electronic keys on smartphones. The following are some features of the PDK system:

-
Tracking of all keys issued to any individual
-
Logging of all door access, including the keyholder name and the time/date of access.
-
Restricting door access to certain days/times.
-
Business Hours, where doors automatically unlock.
-
Remote unlocking of doors.

Doors that are secured with PDK have electronic latch crash bars which interconnect with and controlled by the PDK system.

Four external doors are secured with the PDK system.

-
Main entrance door
-
Left Paw (Office) door
-
Right Paw door
-
Rear door (next to the Photocopier/Nursery)

The following are administrators of the PDK system, and are authorized to issue electronic keys and provide ad hoc door access, both locally (at the church building) and remotely (from any Internet connection point):

Physical Key Locks

The four doors secured by PDK also have physical key locks, to be used when the PDK system is not functional (i.e., when there is an electrical outage at the building). Physical keys for these doors are on a very strict limited distribution, and should never be copied. These keys have been distributed to the church's staff/ministers. The church office is responsible for maintaining a log of key distribution.
Some internal doors have physical key locks. Legacy keys can be used on these doors. There is no register or log of who has legacy keys, but a number of members have been issued these keys.

Several physical keys are stored in lock boxes for various sheds and gates.
Security / Doorbell Cameras

Eight general purpose UniFi G4 dome cameras are located around the perimeter of the church building. In addition the Left Paw door is outfitted with a Ubiquiti Doorbell G4 doorbell/camera combination.

All cameras maintain a live video stream which is recorded 24 X 7. The system has about 2 months months storage capacity (16TB drive). A smartphone (IOS and Android) and web app UniFi Protect provides access to all video streams.
The doorbell chimes locally in the office and remotely via smartphone to individuals who are authorized.
